Members of Colorado Delegation Pick Up Bipartisan Push for Extension of Wind Tax Credit - Seven members of the Colorado Congressional Delegation called on a congressional conference committee to extend the wind energy production tax credit (PTC) as part of the payroll tax extension.

Reports from Civitas out of the UK and the King Juan Carlos University in Spain have shown the fallacy of jumping into green energy at the expense of the economies of the countries.  Included in the Civitas report and a study by Dutch physicist C. le Pair are observations that massive investments in wind energy have done nothing to lower CO2 emissions and, in the case of the Netherlands, have actually increased CO2 emissions 3%.

I believe that PTCs and cash grants have done nothing more than create an economic bubble similar to the bubble dot.com bubble during the Clinton administration as a result of the trumped up hype around massive computer malfunctions expected with Y2K.  We all know where that led.
