'Clean-energy' jobs add up - Ohio's clean-energy economy accounts for about twice as many jobs as mining and logging, employing nearly as many people as live in the city of Hilliard, according to a new report.

This study seems to be including people who might have a job for other reasons such as:

Buildings are still being built or remodeled and insulation is part of the process, so the insulation needs to be made one way or the other.  HVAC is part of new buildings and new homes and occasionally needs to be replaced.

Nuclear power is a very reliable and economical source of baseload power.

These studies are stretching the data to support the somewhat dubious conclusion that 'clean energy' is the key to our economic future and bolster the argument to keep shovelling taxpayer money into the pockets of 'clean energy' investors by way of tax credits and cash grants in order to pay off campaign donors.
