"Energy Abundance, or Poverty?" Is Theme of Doctors' Meeting - To support public health, continued access to abundant, affordable energy is essential, say physicians who are meeting on Long Island, July 28-29. This access is threatened by policies based on bogus environmental risks.

It is refreshing to see some people who will not be cowed by the UN-IPCC conclusions.  Study the data that can be found in chapters 6 & 7 of "Climate Coup", edited by Patrick Michaels.  In those chapters Indur M. Goklany and Robert E. Davis spell out the benefits and health impacts that electricification have had worldwide.  One will find that the access to affordable, reliable electricity has had major beneficial impacts on mortality and overall health in many areas of the world as the growth of economies has improved the living standards of millions of people.
