Intelligent Communications Platform Lays Foundation to Bring Clean Tech Solutions to the Smart Grid - Global climate challenges and system reliability will provide the drive, while technology and legislative and consumer interest will provide the extra prods to drive smart grid infrastructure investments in the coming decades

No amount  of intelligence or sophioticated technology is going to work if fundamentals of Electric Supply law is violated - that is provision of uninterrupted electrical power of good quality.

Who wants to listen to all this talk of energy conservation / demand  side ,arrangement if he has ordered a certain amount of Electricity from the utility and it is not delivered in time and at the proper place.

Fact is that few utilities will be in a position within  next few years to supply energy as contracted by them

So far the consumers are silent- but they will remain so for how long!.I foresee a masive claims situation  on utilities driving many of them out of business forever.

It is time to wake up and stop giving high sounding promises.
