As we proceed to wards eseentially smart economies managing resources better - of water and gas etc we require to resort to remote metering/ demand response/ advanced cinservation techniques etc. All this is creating a massive demand of engineers adept in designing and building such measurement and control installations and I forsee a demand of atleast 1,00,ooo Engineers over next five years.Thus there is a requirement immediately of 1000 engineers foir planned and anticipated projects world wide.

This requires assive effort in building manpower
