This is what DistribuTECH is all about. The convention helps provide the showcase for the innovation that is needed to support the changes that are necessary to improve the aging infrastructure of the electrical grid. At the conference, there are 135 utility speakers and 78 conference sessions for utility executives so that they can get different perspectives on the topics of interest. There are also hundreds of booths in the exhibition hall where you can learn a little bit more about the vendor’s products and services (although some of the folks are only there for the trinkets).
But what is even more important and is always behind the scenes is the collaboration that takes place with all of the vendors. As many utilities are already painfully aware, it takes many companies’ products and services to make the Smart Grid “smart”. DistribuTECH is the breeding ground for these partnerships. This is also true for telecommunication service providers. We work with the biggest and best companies to provide the solutions you demand that provide the availability, reliability, maintainability and scalability that is required. We don’t make the AMI and MDM platforms, we just make them better. We don’t architect the Demand Respond and Distribution Automation platforms; we just make them better through the power and strength of a carrier’s best assets (infrastructure, security, communications and networks).
Come see us at DistribuTECH. We are at booths #4411 and #4721.
