We’re just about three months away from the annual Independent Energy Human Resources Association Conference.  And let me tell you, I’m pretty psyched about it.  Sure, the conference will be held in Vegas this year, but that’s not why I’m psyched.  All attendees of this year’s event will get to take a tour of Zappos!  I love Zappos – I’m a VIP and I am very intrigued by their culture and I’m excited to learn more about what makes them tick.  Thanks IEHRA,for making that happen!

For those not familiar with the IEHRA, the organization focuses on human resource issues affecting the independent energy industry.  Every year they put together a conference that draws HR professionals from large and small independent energy organizationsacross the country.  The conference really does encompass a nice group of people who are there to learn, stay up to date with industry changes and challenges, plus have a little fun. 

This year yet again holds a nice array of topics and presenters, all of which I am looking forward to.  Not sure what to expect?  Check out my blog post about the 2011 IEHRA Conference.

Will I see you in Vegas this year??  I hope I’m not the only one excited about the Zappos tour!
