I thought I would keep it simple today, as we are celebrating the Federal Holiday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  Dr. King successfully protested racial discrimination in federal and state law.  I thought this was an appropriate and timely topic since the human resource professionis affected by these laws.  Let’s all remember Dr. King and what he fought for, including laws enforced by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

The EEOC recently announced its strategic plan through 2016.  The Employer Handbookshared some insights in a recent post “6 EEOC priorities over the next 4 years and the impact on your business.”

Remember to always keep up to date with EEOC lawsand have a great day!
