Dr. Stephen Lee is currently a researcher and was a consultant in the power industry. He has over 40 years of experience. His current research activities focus on holistic transmission planning and operations, visualization methods for grid reliability, congestion and critical constraints forecasting, alarm management, and probabilistic reliability assessment. Dr. Lee has extensive experience in power system planning and operations, developing and applying new techniques for simulating and optimizing combined generation and transmission systems, interchange distribution and congestion management, transfer capacity, production simulation, maintenance scheduling, unit commitment, system reliability and adequacy, and system stability.
