About Ash from power station-whether hazardous
As far as my experience in the power generation field goes, ash is an inert and harmless. Many a time ash has spilled from ash pond of the power station in to the nearby water body such as a flowing nallah near by the plant. Many an animals are moving through it regularly in India. Nothing happened to these animals like buffalows which regularly visit it for cooling themselves even after long exposure even ty drink the same water.
