Environmental Assessment Issued for We Energies Biomass Project

On August 26, the PSCW issued its Environmental Assessment and FONSI, determining that an EIS is not necessary for We Energies' proposed 50MW biomass cogeneration facility near Wausau, Wisconsin (with paper company, Domtar). Docket no. 6630-CE-302. A prehearing conference is scheduled for 9/8.
