Although I believe that we need to reduce the amount of methane and CO2 in the atmosphere, carbon sequestration seems to me to be a snare and illusion that evolved during the Bush administration and is being propogated under Obama. A more common sense approach would be to capture CO2 emissions and release them in a rainforest, and make some happy trees along with a whole bunch of clean air.
